Dr. Kathleen Creel - 2nd Colloquium in Series on Stereotyping & Medical AI

We are very pleased to announce that our second speaker in our Summer Colloquium Series on Stereotyping and Medical AI will be:

Dr. Kathleen Creel (HAI, EIS, Stanford)- "Let's Ask The Patient: Stereotypes, Personalization, and Risk in Medical AI"

Dr. Creel is the Embedded EthiCS fellow at Stanford University based in the Center for Ethics in Society (EiS) and the Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI). Her current research explores the moral, political, and epistemic implications of machine learning as it is used in non-state automated decision making and in science. She also has other ongoing projects on early modern philosophy and general philosophy of science.
